Reviews
In their words, not ours
A dealer can say anything about itself. What the people who bought, sold and traded with us say afterwards is the only version worth reading, so it is published here as it arrived.
The reviews below are illustrative samples showing how verified reviews will appear. They are labelled as such and will be replaced with genuine customer reviews as they are received.
The listing said hairlines on the case sides and there were hairlines on the case sides. Nothing more, nothing less. That is the whole reason I would buy again.
Sent photographs on a Tuesday evening, had a written figure with the reasoning by Wednesday lunchtime. The money was in my account the day I dropped the watch off. No games.
Three months on a waiting list elsewhere. Wristly found an unpolished example in five weeks and talked me out of a cheaper one with a redialled face before I could get attached to it.
One appointment, two figures for the watches I brought, one for the watch I wanted, and the balance already agreed before I set off. Simplest watch transaction I have done.
Sat with the watch and a loupe for the best part of an hour and never once felt hurried. The condition notes were more honest than I would have been about my own watch.
Handling a late father’s watch was not something I wanted to do on a marketplace. Terms in writing, the reserve was mine to set, and it sold for more than the two trade offers I had been given.
How these are collected
Three rules, so the page stays worth reading
Every transaction, one ask
After a watch is delivered or a sale settles, we ask once - by message, a couple of weeks later, once the watch has been on the wrist. Nobody is asked twice.
Published as written
Reviews go up as received, initials and town only. We do not edit for tone, and a critical review is not a reason to leave it out.
Verified against the sale
Every review here corresponds to a transaction in our records. Nothing is solicited from people who have not dealt with us.
Dealt with us?
Tell the next person what it was like
A sentence or two is plenty. Say what you bought, sold or traded, and whether it was as described. Initials and town are all that will be published.

Everything in the vault was described the way these customers describe it: plainly. Start with a piece, or with a watch you want to sell.
